Stearns-Roger emerged as a leader in Engineering, Equipment Design, Manufacturing, and Construction services for many industries. In 2001 Washington Group/Stearns Roger closed down the manufacturing side of the business and sold off the assets, which included the process equipment activities.

Founded in 1912, May Foundry continues to provide quality products and services to our customers.

With three coreless electric induction furnaces and skilled personnel in the production of no-bake green sand molds, the foundry has a maximum production capability of molding, melting, and pouring up to 9,000-pound iron castings. Typical metal compositions poured by May Foundry include:

We sell and service many diverse industries, such as mining, foods, sugar, manufacturing, and other process industries, with a variety of services and equipment. This service includes new equipment, replacement parts, repair, and reconditioning of worn out equipment.

Through spectrographic analysis, we can determine the composition of existing castings and duplicate the material for new castings. We can duplicate parts from the old, worn item, make a styrofoam pattern to replace a one-time need, reverse engineer the part or system, start from scratch, modify and existing item, provide a new OEM part, or find any of a number of ways to resolve issues.

We can work with you to find the best solution to address your needs.

Through our relationships with several OEM's, we can supply new equipment for many pieces of equipment and systems. We would be happy to examine your process requirements to help determine the proper equipment for your application.
